Brown Bear Viewing and Photography

(June, July, August: 1-5 days) Get up close and personal with brown bears in this remote Alaska location. You can photograph bears without the crowds of people at Brooks Camp and McNeil river. I land on beaches nearby the bears where we can approach from a safe distance. Beachcombing is also very good.

During June the bears are feeding on grasses near coastal beaches. Large boars are out during this time. During July and August the bears are feeding on clams and salmon. We can also photograph bears by their dens in April. Total price for a group of 2 to 3 people starts at $1800. One day excursion includes lunch.

A two-day trip with an overnight in beautiful Seldovia starts at $3900 total for 2-3 people. This includes lodging and meals. The second day we could return to Anchorage via Prince William Sound or the Wrangell Mountains. Or, we can do a second day with the bears.

May through August I can fly you to bird populations throughout Alaska. The Seward Peninsula is especially good the end of May and June. The Arctic Slope is spectacular all summer and can include walrus and bears.
